What is homeopathy ?

Homeopathy (Greek: homois = same, pathos = suffering) is a system of medicine that was founded by Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) based on the Law of Similars (like cures like) which dates back to Hippocrates.

Samuel Hahnemann was a German doctor who became a translator for medical books using his exceptional language skills and medical knowledge. He discovered the substances that create the symptoms in healthy people have the ability to heal the same symptoms of ill people; “like cures like”. He then devoted the rest of his life testing more homeopathic medicines made from plants, mineral and animals to treat people.

Homeopathic treatment stimulates the body’s natural healing ability and rebalances your energy. It finds the root cause of the symptoms and treats you as a whole person to support your own healing ability rather than the symptomatic treatment. The initial consultation involves finding your main concern for the visit, how and when the symptoms started, what was happening in your life, your health history, family history and mental/emotional state, your likes and dislikes, weather preferences, how you react to a particular statement, how you deal with anger and sadness, how you express yourself and the sensation of the symptoms. Sometimes I may ask deep questions to just get to know who you really are and what is your true motive. You don't need to answer all my questions but the consultation could make you realise something very important about yourself.

As homeopathy treats the whole person, it can assist emotional and physical health and numerous issues at once, including stress related symptoms: anxiety, fear, grief, anger, insomnia, low energy, hormonal problems, teething, tantrums, eczema, migraine, constipation, coughs, allergy, behavioural issues, low libido, painful sex and much more.
